    义务教育课程标准实验教科书(人教版)英语PEP三年级下册

    设计意图:

    字母教学是小学英语课堂教学重要和首要的任务之一。众所周知,英语是拼音文字,组成英文书面交流的最小单位是字母。英语中共有26个字母,每个字母有其特有的读音和书写形式。是否能教好英语字母影响着小学英语教学目标的实现,这是字母本身的特点和重要所决定的。在英语教学的初始阶段,也就是在低年级英语教学中,应该十分重视英语字母的教学,完成好英语字母教学的任务。 案例描述:

    为了完成字母教学的任务,实现其教学目标,让学生在以后的英语学习中奠定良好的基础。我根据字母教学的特点和学生的年龄特征,设计了合理、可行、有效的教学步骤,我采用的步骤有以下几种:

    一、说

    在学26个英语字母前,绝大多数同学都已经会背了。首先,我让学生大声背出这26个字母;然后让学生听英文字母歌,比较一下刚才背诵过的哪些地方和录音不同。

    二、听

    要认真、仔细听,听录音,听教师示范,要听清楚每一个字母的发音。遇到较难发音的字母,教师还要引导学生观察教师的口形。如字母“V”,教师可为学生示范读,请学生看清楚,发这个字母读音时上牙要咬下唇。“G”和“J”容易混淆,在学的时候一定要听准音,看口形大小、记准确,否则就会将两个字母记混。

    三、读

    在听的同时教师要出示字母卡片,使学生边听边读,观察每个字母的特殊形状,使音与形在学生的头脑中产生必要的联系。通过多次反复的出现字母,使学生印象深刻。在教的过程中,让学生结合生活中的物体形象,更进一步加深字母的认识。通过对比找出形近易混字母的不同;通过游戏竞赛的方式加深学生的记忆。

    四、写

    在听、读、说的环节后,字母教学中的一个重要任务就是如何正确的书写每个字母了。在书写字母时,我采取了如下办法来规范学生的书写:(1)字母大小写的区别;(2)印刷体和书写体的区别;(3)了解字母的笔画、占格;(4)了解正确的笔画、笔顺。

    下面我以A、B、C、D、E五个字母为例

    教学内容:

    教学目标:

    1、在复认读字母的基础上学习书写字母;

    2、学习含有这些字母的三个新词;

    2、学习国家名称词;

    2、游戏中只练习了用五个在写字母拼地名的第一个字母,强调地名首写字母应大写;

    教师首先告诉学生英语书写练习本是四线三格本。大小写字母在占格时有所不同。有的占一、二两格,有的占第二格,有的占二、三两格。请学生仔细看活动手册或抄写本中的书写示范。

    教师在画有四线三格的黑板上写字母,边写边告诉学生从哪下笔,见笔完成一个字母,说明英语字母要向右稍倾斜。随后,请学生伸出手指与教师共同书空。然后打开抄写本练习描摹字母,每个字母写几遍,一边写一边读。教师在教室巡视,随时纠正书写有规范、不正确的字母,使学生从一开始就养成良好的书写习惯。

    5.Reviewing the letters

    复习认读字母;听音辨别字母;打乱大小写字母卡片顺序,请学生重新找出每组对应的大小写字母,并按字母顺序排列出来,读并背诵。

    6. Just play

    通过游戏复习巩固五个字母,并初步运用字母拼地名,进行问答交际,练习询问某人从哪里来“Where are you from?” “A”可以拼成 “Anchang或Anhui” ,“B”可以拼成 “Beijing”, “C” 可以拼成“Changde或Changchun”, “D”可以拼成 “Dalian”等。可以发挥学生的想像,用这些字母做首字母拼出地名。 我们的快乐

    一节课下来,孩子们不但能听,能说还能写了,这让他们非常高兴。更让他们高兴的是,他们运用自己的智慧创造了人体字母。

    像,我来我来”。短短的五分钟就在同学们的吵嚷声、笑声中结束了。但是同学们意尤未竟,自发的表演起这几个字母。最后,大写的“B”,小写的“b,C、b、a、D、d”一一诞生,我让学生自己来评判,他们表演的字母哪组最接近,我就用那组同学的名字来给这个字母命名。例如:大写的A,表演这个字母的两个孩子一个姓孟,一个姓劳,我就把A命名为“孟劳A”。

    这样的教学同学们觉得非常有趣,课后,常常有学生自己玩这种游戏,“我们来表演孟劳A吧”,这不仅激发了学生学习英语的兴趣,同时也培养了学生积极动脑,主动思考问题的能力。看着学生们自己创造出来的字母,我心里有说不出的喜悦。

    评析:

    创设环境,激发学生主动学习的积极性

    基础教育阶段英语课程的任务是:激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略,发展自主学习的能力和合作精神;使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读、写技能,形成一定的综合语言运用能力;培养学生的观察、记忆、思维、想像能力和创新精神;帮助学生了解世界和中西方文化的差异,拓展视野,培养爱国主义精神,形成健康的人生观,为他们的终身学习和发展打下良好的基础。第斯多惠说过:“知识是不应灌输的,而应引导学生去发现他们,自主掌握它们。”字母教学也一样,最终目的是为了让孩子有学习的兴趣,能主动、独立学习。也只有有了兴趣,孩子们才会独立想各种办法认识更多的字母,从而达到对英语的独特敏感。在这个教学设计中,根据学生的年龄特点,有组织,有计划的去“创造”字母,充分发挥了孩子们的主动性,极大地鼓舞了他们学习的积极性。
